How to use Photoshop Extract Filter

The extraction tool is located under “filters” in the command bar, the third tool from the top.
I also have PS CS4 and it is available.

The Extraction tool is not available in photoshop CS4
you can download the plug in from the adobe website, however, theres a trick to fully install it. Ill post a tutorial on that later =D

soo. im having some issues. one, when i go under filter there is no extract. i have photoshop cs4. and two, i can’t do anything. when i click anything it just stays as the hand. it doesnt change. help? please.

I tried to do this but I cannot copy the two folders and when i try to drag them it says like it cannot read the memory. help.

now open the file that says goodies then optional plug ins, then open Plug-ins
32 bit then open Filters, then copy those two that says ExtractPlus and PatternMaker and Paste them on the CS4 files by going to MyComputer then “C” drive and then Programs, then ADOBE, then Adobe PhotoShopCS4 then Plug-ins, finally open Filters and Paste them there. then Open CS4 program and check the extract filter is there now. Let me know if anything.

go to adobe{dot}com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4048&fileID=3767 and save the download on a folder on your desk top and let me know when you get it and i’ll tell you the rest of the steps where to put the contents of this folder.
